Observation notes: First seen resting on, possibly ovipositing on, young pigweed (Amaranthus) plant (see side view). Flew to second young pigweed plant and rested there briefly before flying off. Sunny, warm, moderate breeze. Juniper-pinyon woodland zone, about 6820 feet.
