Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID is correct...looks like a male. Ours tend to be paler than eastern Viceroys and apply to or are intermediate to the subspecies lahontani to the west in the Great Basin. You are right...Viceroys are not commonly found in western Colorado. The host is Willow. Mike
