Observation notes: I agonized over this a bit, but decided to suggest common (rather than gray) for these reasons: VHW spots are rather large, and there is some contrast to the band surrounding them. The area just in front of the VFW cream band is dark and the orange bars further down are richly colored with darker borders than appear on the reference image in BONM. The same forewing characteristics are visible in the limited dorsal shot. Unfortunately, the forewing apex is heavily damaged, so I can't assess the shape, and I wasn't able to get a good image of the DHW. Being in the far east of the state, I'm assuming it's not unexpected to see coenia (as opposed to grisea).

Coordinator notes: There is no way to know which it is, whether gray or common, and they hybridize anyway, so one can expect many examples to not clearly be one or the other.
