Observation notes: One butterfly nectaring on Oxeye Daisy. It landed so close to me I had to take my glasses off to look. Small skipper appeared a solid, medium brown overall. Location: Parker Creek Falls paved pullout, faces west. Habitat: woodsy, paved roadside pullout at a small waterfall. Mossy, moist granite wall and brushy road shoulders. This is the first year I have seen water dripping down the mossy granite face.
