Observation notes: Probably another Northern but the wing fringe color is throwing me. We've had several northerns in the last couple days which feels odd as I can't find any verified records of any in the county besides mine from last year. Still more likely than Southern but I thought I'd check with that forewing looking gray and hindwing being noticeably tan. As seen in the picture, was on a coneflower. Midday, partly cloudy and around 94 degrees.
