Observation notes: Clear skies, temperature in the 70's, calm winds. On vegetation along riparian area. Elevation 6856 feet.

Coordinator notes: Very good record Bob...looks like a female. Not sure what the flowers are she is visiting...looks almost like a Milkweed. Maybe there will be some Queen's she produces that fly south in the late summer? The Queen is not as famous as the Monarch but also has a similar migration but in lower numbers. Some years we never see them this far north in Colorado. Thanks very much for this submission. Mike
