Coordinator notes: This is a female of Ridings Satyr...looks to be female. Must be the first one you have observed in your area since you were obviously unsure of it. Actually, the genus Neominois has become a genetically determined subgenus of the genus Oeneis...so you had the correct association with your suggestion as Oeneis alberta! Mike
