Observation notes: Near Middle Sespe Creek trail. Sunny day in the 70’s F with breezes. Found during California Native Plant Society field trip! This one wasn't large but was definitely not a small one. Some scale from the Yerba Santa flowers. I wish I got a clearer shot of the underside. Elevation 3500 ft.

Coordinator notes: Chris: Could this be Speyeria coronis hennei, was it bigger than a callippe? It does not look like S. callippe comstocki?----Ken Davenport I' will call it a callippe based on the thinner network of black lines above-Ken Davenport
