Observation notes: Near Middle Sespe Creek trail. Sunny day in the 70’s F with breezes. Found during California Native Plant Society field trip! Should be subspecies or species Monticola on its only host plant California Buckwheat. Markings look pretty solid for Icaricia (lupini) monticola.
