Coordinator notes: C. california is the correct species name for your individual as you listed. Technically in WI, ssp, inornata, or the Inornate Ringlet as you may sometimes see used, is the correct subspecies. C. tullia, as listed in BAMONA, is now mostly a Eurasian species, with a few subspecies listed in AK and northwestern North America in the arctic regions. -jmgesell
