Observation notes: Rainy day today and once the sun started to come out and the rain turned more misty this little flutterby came flying straight over to the window I was looking through and landed right in front of my face! They flew from an overgrown part of my yard that has an old pine tree and live oak tree, gladiolus, lots of pine straw and some maple tree and eastern redbud saplings. When it flew away after I told it how pretty it was, it went straight to a love oak tree in the yard.
