Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Mostly sunny, slight breeze, temp in Upper 60s F. One seen nectaring on wild iris. This one was larger than the numerous C. dobra recently observed in this area. Plus, the pattern on the ventral hindwing lacks the striations seen on C. dobra.
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: Right-o. I have to accept it as Thorybes pylades, but some DNA-based taxonomies call it Cecropterus rockiensis, leaving the name "pylades" for eastern populations.
