Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Perched on what appears to be a oak shrub, partway up a trail leading from a riparian area into chaparral hillsides. Temp 80, clear, intermittent breeze. The dorsal color shot has me doubting this identification, but the individual was too large for a C. gryneus and the white stripe rules out S. saepium for me.
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: This has an abnormally wide white line for a tera but the blue spot on the hindwing and continual crooked line and location would seem tetra is the best choice-Ken Davenport
