Observation notes: Multiple females ovipositing on Calliandra haematocephala host plant young leaves in a Ventura backyard. Partly cloudy day in the 70’s F with a heat wave inland in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. These were not raised and arrived on their own. ID point other than the host plants is the straight, unbroken line to the wing tip.
