Observation notes: Siuslaw National Forest, Marys Peak, Benton County, Oregon, Conner's Camp trailhead parking lot. There is an open, sunny, dry meadow surrounded by conifer forest. Blooming along the edges of the meadow: Woodland Strawberry, Alpine Strawberry, English Daisy, a low spreading type of blackberry, some sort of ceanothus shrub, Scotch Broom.
