Observation notes: I spotted this butterfly behind a car on the pavement in the Walmart parking lot this morning. When I walked back to get a closer look, it flew up and away into my shopping cart. I brought it home and put it in my fenced in garden. It appears to have recovered and is making attempts to fly. Weather is warm and sunny.
