Observation notes: The weather was overcast and about 63F, partly sunny with a light drizzle in the morning. Lightly windy as well. The moth was caught in a spider web outside of my house and near the front door lamp. I have no idea how long it had been there but I hadn’t noticed it when I came/left the house around 8:30am, 11:30am, 1pm, or 3pm. After I freed it, it flitted up to a nearby wall and stayed there. I would estimate it to have been about two quarters width across at its widest, but that might be an overestimate.
