Observation notes: While hiking down the trail out of the Verdugo Hills into the Stough Canyon Nature Center, this small brown moth landed beneath some dry bushes on the side of the trail. (34.212773, -118.307635) It remained perfectly still on the ground for the duration of the time I was there. Pretty certain the genus is Digrammia, though I am unsure of the species.
