Observation notes: I was surprised this was the only butterfly on the mud around this watering hole. The water seemed a bit stagnant so maybe that played a role?

Coordinator notes: looks like you were just below the bowl we need to investigate for alberta. As for the mud, I think the older the better . . . more electrolytes. in dry times, any mud at all should be popular. thanks for making that trek!
