Observation notes: Where I live, LVT in Altoona, Fl., since March we had hundreds of fir tussock moth caterpillars being seen all over the area. They progressed to the cocoon stage and now the moths are being seen all over this area. I have sent in my 2 sightings which were accepted of the caterpillar stage, the cocoon stage and can be seen at sightings # 1420682 & # 1421048 in the BAMONA website. This moth has now appeared on the underside of our carport.
