Coordinator notes: After re-examining your photo here Byron, with my head-band magnifier, I can definitely see the white spotting on the upper wings (barely some of the hindwing on that side) and also on the underside toward the end of the hindwing that point it to being an Erynnis. I think the pattern of these point more toward horatius than to persius...that high favors persius but I'll go with what the spots on the underside of the hindwing tell me...it is horatius...looks to be a male as I believe I can see a costal fold on the forewing...probably one that got blown up the pass...or carried up there with a vehicle? If someone wants to argue persius that will be OK too. Neither are records, except horatius might be an altitudinal one? Mike
