Observation notes: I entered my sighting 1420682 a few days ago of the fir tussock moth caterpillar. Our community here in Altoona, Fl has hundreds of these caterpillars all around us. I spotted on the roofing siding in our carport where one of these caterpillars was spinning its silken cocoon case. It is now entering the pupa stage in the development process.
