Observation notes: Group of yellow swallowtails taking moisture and nutrients from a sidewall seep along the Arroyo Trail within The Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument. Individuals would fly in from adjacent deciduous tree cover in this constantly changing "puddling" behavior/environment. The late morning was warm, breezy, and with high thin clouds.
