Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: It was about 85 degrees outside after a clear, sunny day. I had been watering shrubs and while in the flowerbed, I noticed a moth under/behind one of the shrubs. It was beautiful so I snapped the photo and then let it climb onto my finger. I was concerned that it had gotten wet. It began to beat its wings as it rode on my finger for about 30 seconds as I continued to work with my other hand in the flower bed. After about 30 seconds, it flew away.
