Observation notes: This is most likely a Checkered White female (most likely?) but I was struck by how dark the under hind wing black seemed so had a bit of a wish for a Western White which I've never seen; Nectaring on dandelion.

Coordinator notes: I understand completely, but that heavy hindwing overscaling is typical of the spring generation of Checkered White.
