Observation notes: I'm going back and forth between Rocky Mountain and Horace's. There's a lot of gray scaling on the dorsal forewings (RM), but the tiny bit of dorsal hindwing visible shows prominent dark spots (H). It's hilltopping (H), but flying just a tad early for Horace's (RM)...though it's been a crazy year, so who knows? It was also moderate in size (H). On balance, I'm suggesting Horace's, but do so with reservations about that gray scaling. I wish I'd been able to get a ventral shot.

Coordinator notes: well reasoned! "earlier than usual" is becoming usual.
