Observation notes: Hello! These fellows seem much stronger-marked than ones I've seen in the past (with a bit more orange-brown color (?) along forewing), but I am assuming they are Sheridan's Green due to early timeframe.

Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct Lynn...pretty early up your way but it has been a rather mild winter and too hot of March! Nice photo of the underside that was posted on my sighting page...different than the 4 you posted for the sighting...it has very large basal spots. I might be able to use that photo in my book section...with your permission...if you can email it to me as a jpeg and no larger than 1MB? I'll let you know if I can get it on my Sheridan's photo page. I should be able to convert to a TIFF for publication. Mike
