Observation notes: At Carrizo Plain National Monument. Partly cloudy and windy day in the 60’s F. Hard to tell if these are Orange Sulphur or Harford’s Sulphur. They have thin black marginal borders like Harford’s but they have some Orange tint too so could be the spring form Ariadne. Lots of Milkvetch growing in the area which is a Harford’s host.

Coordinator notes: Carrizo Plains NM is almost entirely if not all in San Luis Obispo County. I would need to see an upperside to identify as a Harford's Sulphur any orange would mean its not.-Ken Davenport
