Observation notes: It was resting on the outside wall of a metro station. It blended in pretty well. It fluttered to the ground when disturbed.

Coordinator notes: There are three species if Symmerista that occur in our area. As adults they cannot be separated except by examination of genitalia. Identification is easier with caterpillars.
