Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Sunny, calm, 63 degrees. I didn't anticipate seeing anymore butterflies this fall, but surprisingly, I saw this little butterfly as I was walking down the street. It land on the rock mulch along the edge of the road.

Coordinator notes: The Dainty Sulphur is noted to be a persistent little butterfly some seasons...the migrants earlier in the year produce one or two successive flights...my son in Denver has been watching them nearly every day it warms sufficiently...so far through yesterday (Nov. 22). The latest record presently was just noted last year down at Castle Pines...Dec. 21! It was reported privately to me by the observer and not posted to BAMONA. On the same day he also recorded a Clouded Sulphur (C. philodice)...another new late record for that butterfly. Mike
