Observation notes: Located at approximately 3800 feet descending Mt Tecumseh Trail off of Tripoli Rd in NH. Boreal forest. Temperature was 38 degrees with winds 20mph and gusts to 40mph. Caterpillar was on a granite rock, moving across the trail. Approximately 2in in length, dark brown coloring blending into light brown.
