Observation notes: Caterpillar was crawling across a muddy field where many butterflies were pudding. This was at an apple orchard that also had sunflowers and pumpkins.

Coordinator notes: I'm inclined to think this is Spilosoma latipennis, the Pink-Legged Tiger Moth, based on a single photograph in MPG by Carroll Rudy of a 3rd instar (see https://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=8133). I hope other coordinators will weigh in if this seems incorrect to anyone. JRains
