Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID is correct...a newly emerged male...(form pusillus from overwintering pupae has narrower black stripes and wing borders on the wings and a greater amount of blue scales in that on the hindwings...if you have looked at one very closely...uncommon this far north is form multicaudata which you sometimes can find in the Denver area late in the summer...it has somewhat wider black stripes and wing borders and less blue scales noted. It is most prevalent in the Southwest (New Mexico and Arizona, sometimes across southern Colorado. Nice milkweed! Mike
