Date notes: Collected the caterpillar in a mass connected to a fallen apple about 8/25/2025, not sure of the exact day or time. The caterpillar pupated between 8/25 & 8/30. On 09/17 the moth had emerged,

Observation notes: The caterpillar was in a mass connected to an apple. I removed the mass from the apple and could see the caterpillar. The apple had a pit eaten into it under the mass. I put the apple in a jar, that was about Aug 25th. On August 30th I again picked the mass off the apple and the caterpillar had pupated. I checked every few days, and found the moth emerged on September 17th. It may have been out for a day or two before that.
