Observation notes: Caterpillar forming chrysalis (i think) under siding of my house (north side). Weird thing is when i checked on it today, it was empty and was the same color ascthe siding (yellow).
Previously, I found another empty one suspended on the white trim of my patio and it was the same color as the trim (white). I have 2 others on the east side of my house near the ground on my yellow siding...they are turning more reddish-maroon in color.
I'm on 5 acres of sandhill pine-scrub habitat in zone 9a, levy county, FL.
