Observation notes: I submitted a photo of this species on 9/3/25 when I found one clinging to my porch shade. That individual stayed in place for 5 days and I realized it had perished, so I removed it. Tonight I was stunned to see a second Stippled Sigela on my front door frame, just a couple of feet from where I found the first one a week ago. In case this might be unusual, I am submitting a photo of the second moth that I found tonight.
