Observation notes: Found in irrigated field adjacent to a slough of the Okanogan River. The field is being used to replace knapweed with grasses, clover, alfalfa, and shrubs and trees. Cottonwoods are abundant. Other shrubs and trees growing in the field or along the slough are dogwood, hawthorn, coyote willow, chokecherry, golden willow, ponderosa pine, river birch, and serviceberry.
