Observation notes: Butterfly perching and nectaring on what I think is Lathyrus nevadensis aka Purple Peavine or Sierra Peavine. Roadcut area on road NF-3010 around the entrance/driveway to parking lot for Conner's Camp trailhead at Marys Peak. Approximately 5.8 miles from junction of Marys Peak Rd and Hwy 34. The road cut is moist, grassy, weedy with native and non-native plants including foxglove, Canadian Thistle, oxeye daisy, Thimble Berry, Fireweed and various grasses. The area surrounding the parking lot is a dry, grassy, weedy meadow surrounded by conifer forest with an understory of native plant
