Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct...a female. I used Lycaena dorcas for the species name because it looks like the name helloides no longer will apply to Purplish Coppers except on the West Coast...I stick with the Mountain Copper being Lycaena florus and in the San Juan Mts. the subspecies is sangremar but genetics suggests it as a distinct species-level copper...don't remember if I mentioned this before?...since your submissions have been from the northern section of Colorado.
