Coordinator notes: This is actually an introduced species from Europe, and is now well established in several Canadian locations. It was first spotted in 2007 near Mirabel Airport near Montreal, and is now commonly found around Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, and was recently discovered on Nova Scotia. It’s also expanded southward from Montreal into northern New York and Vermont. -Jeff Gesell
