Observation notes: Amazed to find this beauty on my tomato plant. It's not the first I've had here at the house but had to submit it because it is the best photo of a Gray Hairstreak I've gotten! She just sat there waiting for me to rush into the house to get my camera!

Coordinator notes: Janet, you know this species, of course. but this is a male. females do not perch with wings open (it makes them too easy to see). also note the darker smear on the forewing - this is the male scent patch
