Observation notes: The moth was laying on a metal garage wall on the outside of the building. It was inactive and rarely moved while being observed.

Coordinator notes: Adults of the Lesser <i>E. diversilineata</i> and Greater <i>E. gracilineata</i> grapevine loopers cannot be separated by appearance alone without rearing or dissection. However, the forewing measures do not overlap (Lesser 12-15 mm; Greater, 16-19 mm). Thus, photographs with a millimeter rule are crucial for identification.
