Coordinator notes: This is a female of the Two-tailed Tiger Swallowtail...much larger than the Western Tiger (Papilio rutulus) with darker yellow wing color, narrower black tiger stripes and a single tail on the hindwing (your submitted photo cuts them off but maybe you have a fuller photo?). The Western is most common in the mountains along stream courses but does occur on the Plains...in the Denver area and elsewhere east but more uncommonly. Mike
