Observation notes: I observed the light brown caterpillar with horizontal stripes on a petunia plant. The petunias have holes where it was feeding. The weather was 83F in the afternoon. The caterpillar stayed on the plant for a few hours. I removed the caterpillar to the grass. It emitted a green slime but was still alive.
