Cloudless Sulphur
Phoebis sennae

Observation date: August 07, 2025
Submitted by: ezeemonee
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Pretty sure this is a “Cloudless Sulfur” but not sure how to separate from the new species Marcellina Sulfur. Definitely not Large Orange Sulfur due to the broken line to the wing tip. Partly cloudy day in the 70’s F.
Status: Resident
Verified by: Ken Davenport
Verified date: August 12, 2025
Coordinator notes: It has not yet been confirmed that marcellina and eubule are two different species and if either are sennae or both are. In any case eubule is not in California or Arizona-Ken Davenport So yes, they are Cloudless Sulphurs~!Ken Davenport
