Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct...looks like a female based on the width of the black border showing thru the underside of the wings. These summer ones (I still call them the Alfalfa Butterfly) are very pretty butterflies. There are other species of Colias sulphurs that are orange in both sexes...Mead's being one. Mike
