Coordinator notes: Changed to Melinae lilis on 7 Nov. 2025 at recommendation of another coordinator, who said the Costa Rica Version is Melinae lilis ssp. imitata. Also note that one of the identifiers on iNaturalist also had me change it there from Ismenius, but to a different species: Melinaea scylax OR Scylax Tigerwing. Note that iNaturalist has another similar species with only 2 observations: Melinaea lilis ssp. scylax. I haven't tried to figure out the differences yet, but I willingly admit that I am not an expert "Identifier" and accept the suggestions from the experts.
