Observation notes: We saw this large moth laying in our parking lot. I went to go check it out and saw that it was deceased. I picked it up and moved it to the grass so it wouldn’t get run over, but now I have it in an enclosed acrylic case in the freezer in case someone wants to view it. While the wing appears torn, it is not. It was fully intact, just the wind blew the wing up on the right side as I took the photo.
