Observation notes: Andrew Warren verified this as a female Field Skipper on iNaturalist. We found it on the same road as the Alkali Skipper on a roadside with lots of nectar plants in irrigated agricultural land.

Coordinator notes: Thanks for letting me know Andy Warren verified it, because unless I see uppersides, I usually reject submissions of this. A. campestris is an extreme chameleon that can look like anything, on the ventral side. I also have the species from the Owens Valley.....Ken Davenport
