Observation notes: Female, apparently snacking on thistle. Weather mild, intermittent breeze, clear skies.
Note last picture shows dorsal wing pattern when brightness and contrast are adjusted, revealing patterns in the forewings and a faint orange dot on the hindwing, which is consistent with the sp.
